Problem Statement

For the smoke detector assembly line design, customer request the installation of optical device to be installed by using robot and vision. Vision camera fixed on the 2nd axis of robot will pick up 4 devices at one time and install into 4 locations of the product case in sequence for every working cycle.

Problem Statement

Customer is producing different models of mobile phone screen. During the production, the screen have to be laminated with a layer of protective sheet, accuracy must be±0.3mm. No scratches or damage is permitted.
Because of the high labor cost and low efficiency, the customer need to upgrade their production line, and reduce the working cycle time to be less than 3.6s。

Solution

Recommended to use Epson robot + Panasonic vision system for position matching and guiding the robot to laminate the protective sheet.

Customer’s Feedback

Through the auto calibration function, the robot can complete the pick and place function perfectly and precisely. This has greatly improved the productivity and meet the customer’s production demand.

Problem Statement

The customer is producing different kinds of mobile phone screen, during the production, the rejected products must be returned to the first step of procedure for reworking.The screen have to be disassembled and stick on the POL again.
In the past, the customer was using manpower for reworking. The manual process need a lot of workers resulting low efficiency and accuracy. So they need to modify the production line and build up a automatic POL sticking machine.

Solution

Recommended to use Epson robot and Panasonic vision system ，By using vision guidance to match the position of the POL and the screen, suck up the POL and stick it on the correct position again.
